Sizes: The edges can be ordered to any length desired. Smith can supply a single edge or bulk lengths up to 50 feet long.
Standard sizes are 1½” thick X 8”,10” or 12" wide and 1" thick x 6", 8" or 10" wide. Other sizes are also available.
Bolt Holes: Smith Industrial can custom punch to any hole pattern desired.
Our standard hole is a 1” X 3½” oval slot, allowing for easy alignment and
installation. Custom hole sizes are also available, upon request.
Adjustment: We recommend rubber snowplow edge adjustment be based
on the type equipment being used. Front-mounted plows that ride on casters or shoes perform best with a 2” overhang and 1” overhangs are suggested for snow pushes and unsupported front-mounted
or underbody mounted plows and graders.
If you want to cut the cost of snow removal, specify Smith Industrial’s rubber snowplow cutting edges. They are the best solution wherever steel blades cause damage or create a
safety hazard.
